County Clerk's Office waives replacement fees

Upon request, the Broome County Clerk’s Office will replace, at no charge, deeds and mortgages for persons who lost their documents in the flood. Call the office for details at 607-778-2255 or 607-778-2256.

The Clerk’s Office is awaiting response/permission from the NYS DMV concerning additional fee waivers for things such as licenses, registrations, titles, etc. We will keep you posted when/if that permission comes through.

Binghamton Fluorescent Co. offers discount

Binghamton Fluorescent Co. is extending their commercial builder's discount to Twin Tier residents affected by the recent flooding events. Call 607-770-0085, visit the Binghamton Fluorescent website, or come to their lighting showroom at 235 Main St. in Binghamton.


Hinman, Howard & Kattell Flood Victim Assistance

HH&K attorneys with experience in providing aid in navigating insurance issues, assisting with disaster‑relief applications, and identifying any additional resources will help during the immediate disaster recovery and beyond. They will be available to those in need for half-hour complimentary consultations by appointment at their office at 80 Exchange Street in Downtown Binghamton, and at the Dick's Sporting Goods Open office located at 1901 Vestal Parkway East on the following dates and times:
— Saturday, September 24 from 9 am to 12 pm
— Wednesday, September 28 from 5 pm to 8 pm
— Saturday, October 1 from 9 am to 12 pm
— Tuesday, October 4 from 5 pm to 8 pm

Davis College offers relief for flood victims

A disaster relief team will provide up to 6600 meals per day for residents coping with the aftermath of the flood. Meals will be prepared by a Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Feeding Team and distributed by the Red Cross to those in need.
